My skin is breaking out so bad again on my bum and thighs! I think its from all the stress of Christmas and Also riding in the car for over 6 hours today wearing jeans. :(
purplegotmoxie asked: You are proof that even with this terrible disease, you can still be beautiful. I'm still learning to accept mine.
gi-ntare asked: First, I must say that you're such a beautiful lady! and second, thanks for creating this blog. Hope you win this battle (and me too, of course!) <3
beingmeinmyownskin asked: I love your blog! It's great to know that somebody around my age is dealing with this too!
blueleafx asked: Beautiful! :) and cool tat! I am starting phototherapy soon. Quite excited! I might do some before and after shots. Not that my psoriasis is severe or even moderate most of the time, it's just that I've been on steroid creams for that longgg (every other day for 7 years!) my current treatment is starting to get a bit poop...
Sorry no updates for awhile! My husband and I got our internet cut off briefly to save some money last paycheck. but we’re back in business >:)
I take my injections on the weekends because the day after or so that I do it, I am WIPED OUT. I took my injection on Saturday evening (actually later than planned because we had guests over so i waited till they left). and all day yesterday I was so worn out. My hubby is amazing though and let me rest all day. Then I made potato soup to go with my sicky mood.

Skin is looking SO much better. I need to take some pictures but I have been so busy. I need to get a cord for my camera. I feel like photobooth and my camera phone just doesn’t show it best. I talked with a new friend tonight about psoriasis. I met her a few weeks ago but I was only with her a short while. tonight at a friend’s BBQ I off handed said something about psoriasis and we...

Anonymous asked: I had my psoriasis under good control for a few months up until last week. I started to drink again and used cocaine for the first time over the weekend and my psoriasis just went crazy. I have it back under control now but I wont be doing that again.
ravenloonatic-deactivated201205 asked: Both my Mom & Rita used to use Dovanex. Worked very well for them both. I remember my Mom saying it was expensive.
Anonymous asked: heyloooo! ive only recently joined tumblr and came across ur page. sounds bad but im so glad someone knows how i feel! Psoriasis plagues my life and i bloody hate it!! constantly stressed so constantly have it? what treatment do u have and what type of psoriasis?
Okay so my dermatologist appointment went AMAZING yesterday. the doctor was SO nice and listened to me completely. He switched me to the spring loaded humira (only kind the hospital on base carries). I dont like it. the click thing scared me and I jumped, but im sure ill get used to it as time goes. I prefer the syringe. He also gave me some Clobetasol Cream and another cream. Dovanex maybe?...
My spots are back :(
blueleafx asked: Hi there! I've had psoriasis since I was 13 and I'm turning 22 shortly. In 8 years, I've only ever seen 2 other people with the condition and they were just people passing in the street. During my skin's worst, I really felt like I was alone and nowords would make me feel better about it because I never felt anyone understood, because I was the only person I knew that had it....
Anonymous asked: im not sure if this is too personal and i apologize if it is, but im always worried if i end up having sex with someone they'll be disgusted by my psoriasis.. so its prevented me from having any kind of sex life.. what are your thoughts on this?
chrisralphhoward-deactivated201 asked: oh my gosh, your legs look great!
Anonymous asked: Got my first "what the heck is that on your arm" today. It was always in a place where I could hide it, but not this time. I never rehearsed what I would say before so it was a bit awkward but I wasn't ashamed.
postcardfrom-1952 asked: Psoriasis is so annoying >:/ It pisses me off.
Anonymous asked: Have you ever had psoriasis in your arm pit? Mine is there and it sucks! I cant wear deodorant because it irritates it like crazy so I just shower often.
torrie-the-astronaut asked: I have Crohn's and developed psoriasis about 6 months ago. I also take Humira and I saw your video about how to take the shot. The syringe looks a lot more painful than the pen! Definitely see if your doctor will let you try the pen. It still kinda hurts- don't get me wrong. But you don't have to physically push the medicine in your skin so I guess it's mind over matter.
turnthepaiges asked: hey, so i'm starting injections next week and i'm soooo nervous, but have they shown any signs of relief for you?
carrotsticksandapplescruffs asked: does tanning really help? i have guttate psoriasis so its not in large patches but it's EVERYWHERE! i have dead sea salt lotion, Rx lotion, aveeno oatmeal lotion...i dont know what to do
Dermatologist appointment today at 10:00!! I am excited, I hope he switches me to every week injections!
Anonymous asked: autism speaks does not actually do anything to help autistic people; they are only dedicated to 'curing' autism. if you really want to help your son, i would suggest a different organization. (i'm saying this because i am myself autistic. feel free to ignore me if you think it's presumptuous.)
Anonymous asked: Good to see you have someone so supportive and that your not afraid to show who you are. I on the other hand am the complete opposite. I have a very mild case of psoriasis (elbow, back) and I can't stand it. I wear long sleeves in the summer and can never go swimming again. I had a partner of 8 years and when my psoriasis first showed up a year ago, well they split. I'm not doing...
carouselambrasucks asked: You can't begin to know how happy I am to see this! Psoriasis, sigh. I was curious, since it looks as if you have tattoos, does an outbreak ever effect them? Scarring? Loss of color or detail? My spots seem to have gone around my tattoos thank goodness but I have a feeling I might not be so lucky next time.
Sorry no update for a bit. I have been very busy working and took a trip to NC to see my family. CJ surprised me with a tanning bed package yesterday when I got home. I went for 4 mins. yesterday and 5 today. Yesterday I was only pink RIGHT around a few spots on my thigh, tonight I am very pink :( I am not trying to get tan (Actually prefer not to), but Just want some sort of relief. I will say I...
So last night my skin was VERY inflammed on the back of my right thigh. Cj helped me put on some cream. These are some tricks I’ve learned for myself to make it feel better or make me stop scratching. -If my feet are ridiculously itchy, I put on cream and then put on socks. -if my legs are hurting and Im in shorts or undies, I put on pants. Ive noticed that when i dont wear pants my my...
just realized I have been spelling Humira wrong this whole time….apparently it’s with an I and not an E. oops!! =P
Okay here’s me getting my second shot of Humira. My husband, Cj is giving it too me while also it explaining the proper way. He’s getting ready to go out of state for a month (for the army) and I want to make sure I know the right way to do it without his help. PS. it burns really freakin’ bad. I have a high pain tolerance and I still have to grip his shoulder. I have found...
